Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Conversion Test Manager Location: New York, NY Type of position: Contract - 3 openingsThe Conversion Test Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Client Track Lead to implement the defined test strategy, ensure all project test deliverables are on track. The conversion test manager will be responsible for test planning and test execution as well as tracking all deliverables in the overall plan. The test manager will also report and escalate issues to senior management as needed. Required skills: 10 to 15 years of QA Management Experience, preferably in the financial services industry Strong Communications skills required along with the ability to manage upward and report to senior management on a weekly basis Required expertise in Relational or Object Oriented Databases along with knowledge of Mainframe File Structures Experience in leading a QA team composed of onshore and offshore resources Strong Knowledge of automated testing processes using HP Tools as well as other non COTS tools Experience with Informatica is a plus Ability to reviews enterprise functional specifications, documentation and prototypes. Extensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of QA methodologies used. Ability to monitor and track implementation plans to ensure desired outcomes Develop and plan integration, regression, system and UAT test plans, defines and validates test environments.
