Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage a team toward building and maintaining a global trade capture applications for the Global Fixed Income group.
Key Accountabilities:
Primary Objectives
Accountability for all aspects of effectively running the Fixed Income front-office trade-capture system.
Hiring / firing of the trade-capture team.
Working with head of the group on project budgeting and planning.
Effectively addressing short, medium, and long term business objectives.
Overseeing all architecture decisions across Fixed Income trade capture.
Ensuring that all solutions are scalable and yield to high architectural standards
Working closely with other functional peers to deliver a highly reliable and seamless technology experience to our trading and sales clients.
Providing trade capture expertise in Fixed Income products to your teams and other teams within and outside of Fixed Income
Stay current with the latest technologies and awareness of technologies used by competitors.

Experience effectively applying technology best practices and processes.
Demonstrated success in delivering, maintaining and supporting complex, large scale, global systems.
Technical
10+ years in depth, hands on financial services technology development experience, ideally with Fixed Income products specifically.
Extensive understanding of latest JAVA and Messaging technologies
Significant project planning expertise
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level trade capture solutions.
Experience integrating vendor platforms for electronic trading with STP to position keeping systems.
Expert on front office activities from booking to settlement
Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and relevant analytics and math calculations.
Business
Good market knowledge of a broad range of Global Fixed Income products, including cash and vanilla derivatives.
