Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Data Masking Consultant.Type of position: ContractLocation: New York , NY EBIS (Enteprise Business Intelligence Services), is an enterprise wide infrastructure group providing products and services in the BI space. Business Intelligence comprises a large and interesting field that is increasing in importance for the firm in order to better leverage resources and maximize earnings.The products that we currently manage and support are: Business Objects Xi (BOXI) for Ad-hoc reporting, Informatica Power Center for ETL processing, Proclarity for OLAP reporting, and Qliview for data analytics/data mining. Most recently, the team has acquired Informatica Data Masking Option to address the firm's need for data obfuscation.We are looking for an Informatica developer (expert level), to work on the data masking option and to build out any additional Informatica functionality that may be required. Required skills:5 plus years of experience working with Informatica, preferably with custom transformations and data masking optionExperience working in a low latency/high frequency environmentSolid understanding of ETL & Data Warehousing methods and technologies (Informatica 8.6)Strong Understanding of PowerCenter - creating mappings.Advanced workflow job process design and management. Informatica administration and environment management.Minimum 5 years Informatica PowerExchange Real Time processing and/or web serviceSolid understanding of informatica workflow/mappings to assist in troubleshooting/performance tuningStrong relational database skills (sybase, DB2)Proficient with SQL.Excellent communication skills. Desired skills:Solid data modeling experience (logical/physical)Strong Unix skills (Linux), ODBC connectivityFamiliarity with MQFamiliarity with Web Services.Perl programmingShell scripting.Familiar with SDLC conceptsSource code control concepts.
