The physical area of support spans four sites.Tasks include but are not limited to:Deployment of new/replacement equipmentGather user requirementsConfigure equipmentDeliver and work with end-user to confirm needs have been metSupport and TroubleshootingSoftware installationsHardware installationsBasic printer supportTroubleshoot all aspects of hardware/software issues.The position includes support of the Client's IT Call Center as needed. Critical Skills and Expertise: Strong Windows XP desktop support skillsStrong analysis and debugging skillsStrong interpersonal, communication and writing skillsAbility to act independentlySelf-starterExperience with Altiris toolset is desiredCustomer orientedStrong organization skillsMust be a team playerEducation Required: Associates degree in Computer/Information Science or equivalent experienceExperience Required: 3 to 5 years of experience in support of windows based environments and desktop services.Other Requirements Contractor must be eligible and willing to undergo background check necessary for a Government security clearance if required.
