Job Description:
The individual has responsibility for activities that contribute to the planning, creating, implementing projects and/or teams that are aligned with the IT organization?s strategic plan. This individual oversees or participates in the development of the IT direction, processes, standards and architecture. Line Management activities include strategic planning, financial planning and reporting, resource planning and reporting, planning and managing change in organizational structure of process. He/She will be accountable for and tracking against organization objectives; ensuring compliance with disaster recovery requirements; communicating strategy to their organization; selecting, motivating, engaging and supporting teams and individuals; complying with all HR practices and procedures, managing ad-hoc technical business or interpersonal issues and incidents. Across IBIT Product Lines:
? Accurate and timely reporting both from a cost accounting as well as a portfolio management perspective
? Provide commentary and insight to support decision making
? Develop and implement monthly business client reports cross the various product lines
? Conduct allocation reviews in line with global IBIT guidelines and process
? Support headcount reporting for DIT Tradeflow
? Support Metrics reporting
? Support Portfolio Management Reporting NOTE: This role will eventually be moved to Raleigh office. Qualifications:
? Solid educational background in Finance and / or Economics.
? At least ten years of work experience in Financial Management for an IT organization or similar field.
? Experienced in working with Accounting Systems and development of reports.
? Experienced in the development and tracking of business cases.
? Strong presentation skills both verbally as well as written.
? Experience in working in a high pressure environment with ability to respond to time sensitive needs as they arise.
? Experience as a project manager of small to medium sized projects, with demonstrated ability to work in a global environment. ? Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize.
? Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team and to coordinate efforts and collaborate with a variety of individuals. ? Ability to influence individuals across the department.
? Conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
? Good communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
? Team-spirit and keen interest in investment banking.
? Detail oriented; willingness to be hands-on when gathering and preparing reporting data.
? Candidate must be comfortable in a new, dynamic environment where not all requests/issues have previously been encountered or documented. Processes and solutions are continually being developed on a real time basis and the candidate must be able to think in an entrepreneurial way to contribute to creating best practices and policies. ? Takes on management responsibility and accountability.
? Provides direction and agrees on specific objectives.
