Our client, a Fortune 1000 Distributor of Media Content is seeking a .Net / C# Developer for a long term consulting assignment. You'll be responsible for maintaining and implementing process re-engineering, software tools and automation in the Applications Development organization. Primary responsibilities will include: * Maintain effective, efficient, normalized process models representing departmental operations functionality
* Adapt and maintain process models for Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions
* Develop and maintain core BPA functionality
* Develop and maintain BPA tables, workflows and scripts
* Maintain publication methods for operational metrics captured in the BPA Repository and elsewhere
* Maintain custom extensions, automated workflow, data extracts and reporting in Serena Business Mashups (SBM)
* Develop approaches and tools for testing directed at specific application engineering components
* Develop and maintain custom applications for QA subsystems (ie: automation of account preparation and provisioning)
* Day-to-day administrative duties within Serena Business Mashups * 3-6 years experience as a .Net / C# Developer utilizing OO class libraries
* Strong background with Business Process Management (BPM) Automation (process decomposition, scoping, optimization, and automation)
* Any experience with Serena Business Mashups (SBM) is a BIG PLUS
* N-tier architecture design and implementation experience
* Strong Oracle database experience with strong SQL/stored procedures experience
* Candidate should be experienced in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, ie: Business Objects
* Report generation from requirements (Crystal Reports is a plus)
* Experienced in the development and implementation of SOA is a BIG PLUS
* BA/BS in Computer Science or comparable degree

* Basic RDBMS administration skills
* Experienced in presentation tier development and coding for RIA (Rich Internet Applications)
* Business analysis and documentation skills
* Data modeling experience
* Application server configuration skills
* Browser-based client configuration skills
* Experience in VB Scripting
