Type of Position: ContractLocation: New York, NY Description:Looking for a strong Business Obejcts programmer with ETL (Informatica) experience to join the Compass team. Compass sources the data from various sources, calculates and posts the journals to GL and WISE. As part of the job, Developers need to interact with business users and other systems. Developers must be tenacious problem-solvers, ready to balance the technical challenges of each unique task Required skills:* Strong Business Objects (BOXI R2 or R3) experience* Strong ETL (Informatica) programming background. * Solid relational Data Base background preferably Sybase. * Good analytical and design skills * Some understanding of Linux server technologies * Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player. * Excellent problem solving, organizational and communications skills. * Thorough understanding of the Software development life cycle. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Perl skills * Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
