Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Encore on-boarding developer. Location: New York, NY Type of Position: Contract The position will work with members of both the Application Development and Source Code Management teams to identity applications which will require restructuring prior to on-boarding to Encore. Additionally, they will also be responsible for working with the Encore Team Lead in testing and implementing Encore enhancements. Responsibilities:Writing build scripts for application in appropriate utility (ANT, NANT, MSBUILD, nMAKE)Writing Perl script to modify Encore processes.Training AppDev team members in Encore functionalityWriting documentation as required.Researching builds which have failed due to Encore related issues. Skills Required: Exposure to build tools such as Electric Commander, BuildForge or CruiseControl Development experience with distributed technologies preferable.NET, Java, C++ Experience with ANT, NANT, MSBUILD and nMAKE Good understanding of.NET and Java Build Environments Skills Desired: Experience with source code configuration and versioning tools preferred Languages: Perl, HTML, CS, JavaScript
