Our client, a leading healthcare provider in NY, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to help lead a new initiative for them. This engagement will last approximately 10 months. Details follow:Background:GE QS (Centricity Peri-natal): Records Real Time fetal monitoring during labor, charting (surveillance wavelengths) and nursing notes. Analog Data is transmitted to a device that converts to digital. Digital Data is stored at a central server (but not SANS storage). Analog data can be pulled onto a tape locally at site. Information is used by medical records (med records have their own workstations) to create the medical chart and is used on the birth record. The only interface currently to QS is ADT from Invision. Billing is handled by Medical Records. Four out of 5 peri-natal have their own individual system, the 5th site will be a new install.Duties: Project Needs for an Execution PM: Initial Project will consolidate the 4 existing QS sites onto an Enterprise system (VM Ware Server) and to add QS support for the 5th site. System currently provides remote access via CITRIX for the Clinicians to review data - CITRIX access will be required for the Enterprise system as well.o Execution: A consultant PM is needed to execute. The Business Case estimates execution a 10 month execution. Expected timeline for execution to start is April. Four hospitals will not have any upgrade to their fetal monitors or workstations however devices will have to purchased.Besides Project Management expertise, we are seeking candidates who have managed fetal monitoring system rollout. Looking for someone who has done a net new installation and not just an upgrade. Experience in other Fetal Monitoring systems (such as Phillips) would be acceptable
