Reporting to manager database administration and change management. 2. Responsible for making database and application changes in SDLC environment. 3. Understand the impact of changes and its dependencies. 4. Compile and generate executables for Pro*C source. 5. Use existing change administration software, Harvest for check out and foot printing. 6. Compile and deploy oracle development components including forms, reports, menu and database stored routines. 7. Act as liaison between different application groups for changes overlapping different areas. 8. Prepare and update change control related documentation. 9. Prioritize work load and changes to different environments. 10. Work with development teams in implementing the changes. 11. Provide off hours change implementation and database coverage. 12. Enforce existing change management policy and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving ability and interpersonal skills required. 3. Must demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to high pressure, time-sensitive projects and assignments. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills and assure attention to detail. 4. ole0.bmpDemonstrates expertise in a SCM (System Change Management) concepts, practices, and procedures. 5. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook 6. Proficient in change control and version control. 7. Familiar with database application systems 8. Familiar with relational databases software preferably oracle. 9. Familiar with making data changes via user scripts and understanding the impact. 10. Familiarity with UNIX, SQL and Pl/Sqls and quality assurance role will be helpful. 11. Some off hours coverage will be required for database and change related activities.
