Job Description: Our Client, a Wall Street-based International Trading Company has an immediate need for a Sr. Java Swing Developer consultant (8 Months to 1 Year contract) specializing in real-time trading systems development. Potential for full-time conversion or project extension upon assignment completion. Technical Requirements: Requirements: *Degree in Computer Science or equivalent *Solid J2EE and distributed real-time systems experience (5+ years) *Experience developing sophisticated user interfaces using Swing, AWT *Solid experience in object-oriented analysis/design (5+ years) *Experience in Sybase or equivalent RDBMS (3+ years) *Experience in financial services technology *Trading systems experience on Wall Street, sell side firms or equivalent is a huge plus *Excellent analytical/problem solving skills *Excellent communication/presentation skills *Demonstrated self-initiative and good sense of prioritization *Experience in messaging an XML technologies *Fluent English required.
