We are looking for a Sr Java Developer with the following skills...
Job Description:
As a Sr Java developer, this candidate will support and enhance databases and browser based data entry programs. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed program specifications for the applications, developing and testing the application, and incorporating changes suggested by the user group.
This role will include:
Development of Detailed Programming Specifications.
Development of database design
Development of programming solutions from functional specifications.
User support and application support.
Experience: Skills:
Strong Knowledge of the following:
Java/J2EE (EJB), JMS, Servlets. JSP, JNDI (minimum 5 years)
Struts, Spring framework, Java Web services
Hibernate, iBATIS preferable not essential
IBM WebSphere and WSAD 6.0 knowledge
SQL/JDBC (including stored procedures, triggers)
UML and Database modelling tools (e.g. ERWin)
J2EE Design Patterns
XML
Knowledge of the following:
JavaScript, DHTML
Java Based tools and libraries such as ANT, POI, and FOP
Excel, PDF, VB plus
UNIX and UNIX Shells (BASH, C-SHELL)
RDBMS systems (Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server)
Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
Ability to propose creative technical solutions
Knowledge of BEA WebLogic application server desirable.
