Location:
Duration: 18 months
This position is required to complete the development of several new and maintenance of pre-existing web based administrative systems.
Several Financial and administrative applications will be updated and enhanced. These applications currently reside on older hardware. The candidate will be involved in all facets of the project and development life cycle including requirements documentation, application coding, debugging, testing, etc.
Mandatory Experience/Skills
- Must have two years of experience with 4th generation language development tools.
- Two years of experience in:
- Developing large mission critical applications using Client/Server implementation.
- 3-Tier design, development and deployment including RAD/JAD methodology.
- Knowledge transfer, transition of systems and mentoring.
- Intra/Inter Net deployment.
Desirable Experience Preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- 4 years experience in Windows 2000 / 2 years experience in Windows XP.
- 5 years experience in web page design and development utilizing active server pages.
- 5 years experience in MS SQL Server 2000 (or newer) databases and development and deployment of COM objects.
- 2 years experience with automated Financial and/or administrative systems.
- 5 years experience developing JAVA script in web based environments.
- 2 years experience in .NET, XML and XSL environments.
- Excellent written and documentation skills ** submission of technical writing sample will be required at the time of interview**
