DUTIES
These positions will be working on a number of on-going reviews, (production system, development system, thematic review) and will be expected to have good multi-tasking, project and time management skills.
Assist with the risk assessment, scoping and planning of a review
Assist in executing the review. Specifically focusing on the following
Analyze the design risk of underlying system architecture in the context of security, availability, performance and maintainability and its impact on the business
Analyze the business and technology processes to evaluating the effectiveness of the design, build, test and deployment of internal controls that mitigate identified risk
Design and execute tests to validate identified system control features, which may require data analysis, code inspection and re-performance.
Document the results of the test steps executed, within the MCD automated document project repository.
Assist in presenting orally the scope, progress and results of the review to internal IT and business stakeholders

BACKGROUND
Enterprise-level Project Management Lifecycle (Best Practices, Requirements, Design, QA, and System Deployment)

Data Analysis
Financial product knowledge and related experience in the brokerage industry
Strong analytical skills
Object-Oriented Modeling and Programming (UML, C++, Java, C# etc)
Distributed Computing (.NET, J2EE, CORBA, )
Database Management (Sybase, UDB, ORACLE etc) - specifically Security, Stored Procedures, SQL
System/ Security administration and configuration of Solaris, NT, XP, Linux, etc.
Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery
Change Management and Deployment
