Main Duties and Responsibilities PMO executes at program level project management tasks including, but not exclusively: Planning MIS reporting Creation, Communication and Adherence of Project Standards for documentation Identification and quality assurance of key deliverables in the execution of the project Managing dependencies with other initiatives Relationship building, communication, coordination and management of workstream SMEs and BAs Assessments of processes, tools, and techniques used in the project life cycle Assist project work stream resources as necessary. EssentialWork Experience Background 3 years as Project Manager or Project Support in financial services industries using a structured dev life cycle (budgets in excess of $5m) 3 years of change management in an application development environment. Basic business understanding of Energy Commodities and /or Fixed Income products and markets.Desirable: IT Application development in a major investment bank; requirements, designs, building and testing. Basic business understanding of Energy Commodities and /or Fixed Income products and markets. Experience in best practice environmentsJob Specific Skills (Technical Qualifications)Essential: Project Management using a recognized methodology like Prince2. Requirements Management. MS Project or MS Project Server. Issue / Defects/ Risk Management tools. Understanding waterfall and iterative development techniques. Group facilitation skills.Desirable: Working knowledge of Mercury Quality Center or other issue/defect tracking tools. Working knowledge of ARIS Business architecture modeling.
