Business Analyst in ROCHESTER, NY

Great new opportunity with a growing Rochester manufacturing and technology company. This position is new within the Business Planning Division and will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to progress within the division, based on their skills and background. This position entails interfacing with manufacturing, sales and finance, for sales product demand management in support of the company's customer service requirements and division objectives. This position will be responsible for order administration as it relates to sales prospects in division-level shipments, and assisting in division unit forecasting including change analysis. Responsibilities also include database maintenance, forecast of demand analysis, interfacing with senior level management, sales and product analysis and supporting department initiatives. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with superior teamwork skills. Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Business or related field, minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, strong analytical and financial skills, and a strong understanding of MRP. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint is required. Manufacturing background is a plus.
