Our client is developing a computational infrastructure aiming at assisting cardiac surgeons in planning complex interventions. Will write software programs in the areas of Analysis of cardiac images and Simulation of a cardiac beat. The analysis of cardiac images includes 3D image segmentation, formulation of surface rendering models, automatic detection of features, and fusion of images collected from various modalities. The simulation of a cardiac beat requires writing programs to decompose geometric models, mesh them, solve partial differential equations with a finite element method, and finally visualize the excitation state of the heart. Must have a Masters degree in Computer Sciences, Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics. Need to be experience with C programming, algorithmics, advanced data structure, and have some knowledge in linear algebra and numerical treatment of differential equations. Must have excellent communication skills. Must have Scientific Programming experience.
