We are looking for an HR Recruiter for a contract to perm position with our client in NYC.Our customer is looking for an HR Recruiter who will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates to meet the Agencys staffing needs and ensure that all pre/post-employment administrative functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner and in compliance with Agency/Governmental requirements. The candidate will work closely with hiring managers to keep abreast of their recruitment needs, builds recruitment strategies to ensure their recruitment needs are met and advises them of recruitment trends and tools; participate in job fairs and other recruitment outreach activities, and work under general supervision. The candidate must have a minimum of three years broad-based experience recruiting for positions in a variety of disciplines and levels (e.g., health care, business, technical, management) required. General knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local employment laws, regulations, rules and practices required. Effective verbal, written and presentation skills required. Personal computer skills, including experience using recruitment HRIS systems required. General experience in internet-based recruitment preferred. Also required is a Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field required.
