A Latham, N.Y. information technology solutions providers in the Northeast is currently looking for a Senior Management Technician/Computer Systems Support person. As a senior level technician, your responsibilities will include on-site and remote desktop support to a wide variety of customers in eastern New York and western New England.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills and interpersonal skills, good customer presence, excellent verbal and written communications skills. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent is required. Must also have attention to detail, follow through and be self motivated and willing to put in extra effort for highest customer support satisfaction. Some technical requirements are as follows: 4+ years of PC based hardware and software troubleshooting and support, Windows 'XP Tablet Edition, Windows NT Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2003 Small Business Server Exchange, Active Directory and Remote Access, Veritas, Certance, Tivoli, Symantec and ArcServ Tape backup software and Symantec Anti-virus Corporate Edition. Also, knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites. Some other skills that are not required but beneficial: HP Printer/Plotter repair and trouble shooting, SonicWall and Cisco Firewalls/Routers, Microsoft SQL DataBase knowledge/programming, Crystal Reports X, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Business Accounting software knowledge.
