This is a hands-on role requiring involvement in the full project life cycle from design through implementation, delivery and support. There will also be significant contact with business users. Candidates must be prepared to work under pressure in a front office environment. The Stockloan IT team is a global team and the successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively with colleagues/users in all locations.
The Securities Lending uses an n-tier architecture based on Java, J2EE, JMS and CORBA. The candidate will be an Analyst/Developer within the Technology team developing applications within the Securities Lending system.
IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR YOU TO HAVE: Experience: -Java -Experience of EJB/J2EE/JMS/Swing -SQL and Stored procedures (ideally Sybase) -Experience of CORBA would be desirable but not essential. -Perl and general scripting would be useful -NT/XP -UNIX To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
