This is an 18-month contract position in Albany, NY for a Client Server/Programmer. Mandatory requirements include: an Associate's Degree; 2 or more years developing applications in a Windows NT environment. Preferred experience includes: 4 or more years demonstrated experience working directly with customers to identify their business processes, rules, application user requirements and business process re-engineering, and leading the technical design process for large scale N-tiered web-based applications; 4 or more years demonstrated experience developing complex (N-tier) interactive web applications using ALL of the following: VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, VB Script, Java Script, Visual Inderdev; developing complex middle tier components using ALL of the following: VB, ADO, DCOM, COM+, MTS, VB.NET, ADO.NET, COM+Interop; using PL/SQL to write stored procedures and triggers for Oracle database(s) and leading development teams of 4 or more programmers for these large scale n-tiered, web based applications; 4 or more years demonstrated experience designing Oracle database(s) and in developing security for large scale, N-Tiered, web-based applications including both database role driven security and Siteminder security; 3 or more years working directly with users in the human services case management arena to develop requirements, identify and analyze business problems and develop workable solutions using applications; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
