Systems Architect to $140k + 40% Bonus!! in New York, NY

Large New York based trading and investment firm is seeking a Systems Architect for the technology team in the NYC Midtown office. The individual will design and build complete systems and specific system components as well as integrate systems. Will work with developers and actively participate in discussions and studies aimed at selection of strategic technology and software solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of the company's operations. Qualified candidates MUST have 5-10 years industry experience, 2-5 years experience in Application Integration using Web Methods platform (or similar product) including Messaging Broker, Integration Server and related technologies such as Business Process Runtime, Modeler, Workflow, Adapter Development Kit, and GLUE. Must also have at least 3 years experience with Java/J2EE (JMS, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC), Microsoft Development (.NET, COM/DCOM/ActiveX, VB, VC++, C#), XML technologies (DTD, Schemas, XSL, Xpath, XQuery), and various protocols (HTTP, SOAP, IIOP, RMI). Must also have experience with Sun Solaris/Unix platform and O/S and solid database experience (Oracle highly preferred) with strong SQL skills. Knowledge of financial markets, securities operations, clearance, and accounting functions are a huge plus! This is a full-time permanent position paying a base salary up to $140k and a 40% bonus!
