Senior Java UI Developer with SWTExpert in SWT. Experience with the Eclipse Framework is a big plus.Highly experience Swing programmers with SWTEclipse a big plus.ResponsibilitiesDesign, code and implement complex Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for Java-based applications.Work in a team environment to design and build evolutionary prototypes of GUI screens, which allow requirements to be clearly understood and captured.Ensure that screens are intuitive to use, afford users maximum productivity, and are attractive to the users.Ensure all screen components meet the performance characteristics required of the information being presented. Work with other developers to incorporate the GUI screens into the applications. Strong verbal and written communications skills.This position will focus exclusively on the design of highly functional front end systems so the user will need strong team skills to interact with the different back end teams with whom they will be interfacing.RequirementsThe candidate should have hands-on experience developing Java-based applications using a multi-tier approach, and in-depth knowledge and experience using Java SWT and the Eclipse Framework.Highly experienced Swing UI programmers who are interested in learning the SWT toolset including Eclipse plug-ins are also desirable.Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.Experience with in the Financial Industry desired.
