Senior Java Architect in New York, NY

Provide technical post-sale support to sales staff and clients through implementation of proof?of-concept and project initiative delivery. Job responsibilities will include: ? Working with potential clients to determine requirements and technical solutions ? Demonstrating technologies and addressing technical inquiries from clients ? Deployment on professional services engagements with clients in order to facilitate the delivery of their solutions The Candidate will help develop and grow business opportunities, as well as deliver project initiatives Experience: Winning candidates will have an extensive software and system engineering background. Candidate will have experience in designing and building distributed applications using technologies like ? Java/J2EE, Web services, application servers and XML. Candidate will have experience in working directly with clients to determine requirements and architectures. Required skills include: ? Excellent written and oral communication skills ? Experience working with senior technology management to develop and drive technology strategy ? Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and design and development of distributed applications ? Software development experience with the following technologies: Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP / Web Services, JMS / MQ, JAAS ? Application server deployment experience with one or more of the following: WebSphere, WebLogic, SunOne, Oracle 9iAS, JBoss ? Knowledge of multiple technologies including (but not limited to): J2EE, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, SOAP, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL, RDBMS, CORBA ?
