Design and develop applications to support Fixed Income business. Maintain and enhance existing applications. Attend meetings with peers, users, q/a, and management. Develop and/or understand specification and design solutions as per software development guidelines established within the firm. Provide regular project status to the management and/or users. Fixed Income provides various technology solutions to sales, trading, and operations desks. Technology: Unix/Linux OS, Hands-on development experience in these areas: J2EE/Servlets/JSP/Beans/JMS/JDBC, Strong XML/XSLT background, GUI development, JBuilder/Eclipse/Ants/Weblogic, EAR/JAR Deployment and Build experience, and Clearcase. Must know how to use web services, Broadvision portal is a definite plus. Education: BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or Math preferred. Fixed Income background a definite plus.
