Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Risk Manager to fill a requirement at a customer site in New York City, NY. This assignment is expected to go through the end of the year with the possibilty of extension. Job Description:Plans, directs and coordinates PMO Risk Management Program for AtS program to avoid, eliminate and control risks and losses. Analyzes and classifies risks as to frequency and potential severity and measures financial impact of risk on program. The Risk Manager is a high value adding role and requires an achievement oriented individual with leadership and creative thinking skills to successfully meet the following objectives: * Manage portfolios in combination with other convergingworkstreams from performance and developmental perspectives * Take ownership for the portfolio performance across the business andensure that actions are taken to avoid additional expenditure and maximize money spent into BAU processes. * Come up with the optimal balance between business benefits and riskexposure * Implement risk infrastructure, controls and processesNo 3rd party vendors.

Requirements:

Skills/Education Needed: The individual will have visibility across the IT project teams andproactively identify potential gaps. The individual will haveresponsibility for understanding capacity and demand across the IT project teams. Experience in Information Technology Portfolio Risk Management * Know-how in portfolio management (on both overview and detailed level)* Understanding of project/program management and risk assessment * Experience in communicating verbally and via media program exposures* Excellent negotiation and communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency with staffing and recruitment of personnel and resource management; excellent interpersonal skills required; ability to work with all levels of management in a faced-paced changing environment.
