The Senior Software Engineer/Software Architect will work closely with the Companys Chief Software Architect on many aspects of development of the Companys core news product offering. The successful candidate will be able to interact with both technical and non-technical team members to develop and implement ideas, troubleshoot, prototype and improve existing infrastructure. The Senior Software Engineer/Software Architect will be an effective time manager, flexible, able to meet demanding deadlines and pay meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:XBS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.XExperience designing and implementing highly scalable and highly available distributed solutions.XSolid algorithm background, awareness of time and space complexity.XProven track record in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.XSelf-starter, able to thrive in a very dynamic, fast paced work environment.XThe ability to deliver finished products with little or no oversight.XBackground in information retrieval, Internet search and/or linguistics a plus.XProficiency in .Net strongly preferred.XMeticulous attention to detail.
